We are also open every day of The Los Angeles County Fair, at no additional charge!
See the Union Pacific Centennial DD40X diesel-powered locomotive, which measures nearly 100 feet in length, and weights over a half million pounds. The museum’s complete historical collection also includes:
- The original Arcadia Train Station built in 1887, which was moved to Fairplex in 1969.
- Four mainline railroad giant steam locomotives, which are the only survivors today in their respective classes.
- Three smaller steam locomotives, including one built in 1887 used in the Los Angeles Harbor for a record 68 years of service.
- A Pullman private passenger car, caboose, and a racehorse car.
