The Pomona Police Department has made an arrest

 The Pomona Police Department has made an arrest related to the recent series of robberies that occurred in and around Washington Park between December 13, 2021, and January 12, 2022. During this time, numerous reports were received which had similar suspect and vehicle descriptions. The suspect targeted victims walking in the park as well as victims who were sitting in vehicles within the park. These robberies also occurred during similar time frames.

The Pomona Police Departments’ Detective Bureau, with the assistance of Officers from the Departments' Special Investigations Unit, launched an extensive investigation in an effort to determine the suspects’ identity and prevent further victimization of our community members.
On January 13, 2022, Officers arrested Soriano, Noe Jr. of Pomona.
On January 18, 2022, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office filed the below charges against Soriano, Noe Jr.:
4 felony counts of 211PC- Robbery
3 felony counts of 664/211PC- Attempted Robbery
This case is in its early stages of investigation and all subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
