Another great building that was torn down for parking. This was located on the southeast corner of W. Second St. and Thomas. Today the Diamond Plaza would be to your left and the Glass House is to the right across the street, Check out the trolley tracks on Second St. pretty cool.

Ren's did you know, Old Street Post

Over here next tot city yards, there's still a old street post still being used. The street sign itself is new.

When I was covering the building of the overpass on Mission Blvd. few years back. These old street post, where hidden in a row of bushes that once lined the southside of Mission. Who knows why they were there, and they most likely got tossed in the trash.

The day Robert F Kennedy came to Pomona

He came by when he was running for President back in 1968. I was there I ditched Emerson Jr. High School to go see him. Along with 300 other students, from other schools.

I remember standing near that tree to the left.

Pomona's Mini Bus back in the mid 1960's

This Mini Bus would travel east to west, taking paying costumer's, 5cents each, to their destination located on the mall
