Crews will be installing additional right and left turn lanes onto the Eastbound I-210 Freeway from Irwindale Ave, along with changes to the on-ramp itself, as part of the 11.5-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Pasadena to Azusa. This work will require a full closure of the Irwindale Ave on-ramp to the Eastbound I-210 Freeway for 31 consecutive days and nights, beginning this Friday night, October 23 and continuing through November 22, 2015. The closure will be in place 24-hours a day/7 days a week.
In the time leading up to the full closure, there will be occasional nighttime lane restrictions on both Northbound and Southbound Irwindale Ave, along with occasional closures of the Eastbound I-210 Freeway between the hours of 11 PM and 5 AM.
Detours will be in place to direct travelers to the Azusa Ave on-ramp to the Eastbound I-210 Freeway during full closures. See detour map below.
WHEN & WHERE This Friday night, October 23, 2015 at 7 PM thru November 22, 2015: The Irwindale Ave on-ramp to the Eastbound I-210 Freeway will be fully closed to traffic for 31 consecutive days and nights, 24-hours a day/7 days a week. Detour routes will be in place to direct motorists to the Azusa Ave on-ramp to the Eastbound I-210 Freeway.

WHAT TO EXPECT
- Detour routes will be in place during the closure and signage will be posted to direct motorists (see detour map below).
- Pedestrian access across the construction zone will be available.
- Access to all local businesses on Irwindale Ave will remain open at all times during construction.
