On August 31, 2013 at approximately 4:00 pm victim Deon Davis was fatally shot to death in front of 1200 Cromwell Ave. in the City of Pomona. Suspects David Anthony Adams Jr. and Nicholas Keenen Hempstead, both local gang members, were identified and arrested for the shooting.
On Monday November 2, 2015 Adams and Hemstead were both found guilty by a jury of 1st degree murder, including all gang and gun allegations. Both suspects are eligible for life in prison sentences.
