Mark your calendar for September 15, 2018 from 11 AM to 6 PM when the City of Ontario hosts the inaugural Ontario Festival of the Arts in the Arts District (the area between and around the Ontario Museum of History & Art and Chaffey Community Museum of Art).

The Festival of the Arts will celebrate visual and performing arts with artist booths, art demonstrations and instruction, maker machines, display of historical artifacts and ephemera, mini walking tour of Arts District historic buildings, and live musical performances. Free Admission.

Ontario-Montclair School District is providing FREE meals


Ontario-Montclair School District is providing FREE meals during the week at any Ontario Community Center. This is open to all children ages 1-18.

The City of Ontario will host several family friendly events on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 for all ages to enjoy.


The celebration will begin with the annual Independence Day Parade at 9 AM on southbound Euclid Avenue beginning at Fourth Street and ending at B Street. Come celebrate all things red, white and blue with floats, marching bands, and community organizations as they parade down beautiful Euclid Avenue. Joining the Parade this year will be the Dublin All Stars Marching Band from Donaghmede, Dublin, Ireland. This year marks the Dublin All Stars Marching Band’s 30 years in existence and is celebrating with a visit to Ontario, California to partake in our Annual Independence Day Parade.

Following the parade will be "Blast at the Ontario Town Square" a performance of patriotic music by the Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band at Ontario Town Square and the All-States-Picnic along Euclid Avenue. Bring Your Own Picnic and join in the tradition!

Continue the celebration with Family Festivities at Westwind Park (2455 E. Riverside Drive) from 5 PM – 9 PM. Admission and live entertainment is free. A shuttle will run from the Ontario Police Department parking lot (located at 2500 S. Archibald Avenue), to the park throughout the evening. The Fireworks Spectacular show will begin at 9 PM.

All events are free to attend and all ages are welcome. For more information on the Independence Day celebration, please call the Ontario Recreation & Community Services Department at (909) 395-2020.

REMINDER


Possession and use of any fireworks within the City of Ontario is prohibited. Any person found violating this ordinance faces a $1,000 fine.
