Fairplex Presents The Show Jul 28, 2018 07:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fairplex is excited to present a new program that connects us to the LGBTQ community.
“The Show” is an exhibition ball celebrating the legacy of performance art. The ballroom scene, the house system and the ball community gather to "walk" (compete) for trophies and prizes. The competitions also includes dancing, voguing, drag, body, face and costume design.
Enjoy a DJ, food trucks, a bar. After the trophies are presented, end the night with dancing.

Past Events
Our visit to the Currier House and Phillips Mansion was exciting and we enjoyed hearing about the plans for renovations.
Our July started with the Lassie House Dedication Ceremony. It was a wonderful day, and the home is a fantastic example of restoration in Pomona. Thanks to all Pomona Heritage members who volunteered as docents. If you missed it but want to see some press coverage...the Daily Bulletin reported on the house. Click on Lassie House Article

Old Home Preservation Workshop
So...we are finalizing the details for one of our most fun and educational events. Come listen to professionals and your neighbors talk about their passions for renovating and repairing "old" homes.
WHEN: Saturday, August 11th from 9am -2pm
TIME: 9:00AM to 2:00PM
WHERE: Trinity United Methodist Church 676 N Gibbs Ave in Pomona
WHAT: Workshops and classes designed to help us better care for our Old Homes.
The event is free and open to all; not just Pomona residents!

To help fund our Grant Program coffers, we are looking for Silent Auction donations for the workshop. If you have a donation to make please contact our coordinator Vicki at secretary@pomonaheritage.org The proceeds from the auction support our Grant Program, designed to help reimburse homeowners for historically appropriate improvements. More information and applications for the Grant Program will be available at the workshop.
