On Saturday, November 10, 2012, the Cultural Arts Commission and the DPOA will host the Chalk Art Festival at Thomas Plaza in Downtown Pomona from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. The dull gray concrete sidewalks and plaza tiles will be transformed into colorful, pastel pathways. Pomona’s elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as families and professional artists, will join together to create temporary chalk masterpieces.
Pre-registration is necessarry for all participating artists.
