Israel Sanchez, 32, of Pasadena and Ruby Gallock, 29, of Pomona were booked on suspicion of robbery, according to the Pasadena Star-News.
The two are accused of robbing a man and a woman about 4:15 p.m. at a shopping center in the 300 block of South Mentor Avenue, the Star-News reported.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s - both Pasadena residents - were approached by a man who pointed a gun at them and demanded money, Pasadena police Lt. Diego Torres said.
The couple surrendered a number of items, including a cell phone, camera and purse, before the robber got into a Honda Civic being driven by a second person, the lieutenant said told the news agency.
According to the Star-News, a witness got the car's license plate number, which was registered in Pomona.
Pomona police were alerted and officers pulled over the Honda later in the evening, police said.
"The weapon, which turned out to be (a) BB gun, was recovered," the Star-News reported.
Items stolen from the robbery victims in Pasadena were found inside the suspects' car, according to poice.
Sanchez was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail, pending his initial court appearance, while Gallock was being held without bail, the news agency reported.
