Van Driver Killed in Fatal Crash in Pomona

 

A van driver was killed and a garbage truck driver critically injured in a collision in Pomona today.
The collision occurred about 2:30 p.m. near Fairplex Drive and McKinley Avenue, according to Lt. Mike Keltner of the Pomona Police Department.
The truck was a Western Waste Disposal Truck, Keltner said. Keltner said he believed the van driver was its only occupant.
The cause of the accident was under investigation, Keltner said.
