Woman Arrested in San Dimas Tequila Heist

A 25-year-old woman was arrested Friday for allegedly trying to steal $5,000 in tequila and other liquors at a San Dimas Costco, it was reported Saturday.
Starlet Casimiro was booked on suspicion of burglary in connection with the incident, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported.
Two men believed to be accomplices eluded capture, the news agency's website stated.
Sgt. David Buckner of the Los Angeles County sheriff's San Dimas station said deputies were called about 8 p.m. Friday to investigate a burglary that had just occurred at the Costco, 520 N. Lone Hill Ave.
A deputy who was already in the store parking lot on routine patrol noticed a commotion going on; a woman hastily parked a vehicle, jumped out and tried to run away, but employees ran out the store after her, SGVTribune.com reported.
The woman was detained and investigators found about $3,000 in bottles of Patron inside the vehicle, the newspaper reported.
Another $2,000 in liquor was found in a shopping cart by a side door, the news agency stated.
Employees were alerted when an alarm on the door went off, Buckner said.
He said two other possible suspects ran from the store. One ran east while the other headed north.
Deputies searched for the duo but didn't find them.
According to county booking records, Casimiro was released from jail Saturday after posting $20,000 bail, pending arraignment Jan. 22 in Pomona Superior Court.
