Three caught for alleged tagging at Mt. SAC

 
WALNUT - Deputies arrested three men Wednesday for allegedly scrawling graffiti on a ramp at Mt. San Antonio College.
Lt. Christopher Blasnek said a school police officer saw three people painting graffiti on a concrete ramp near the southwest side of Mt. SAC. (The campus is located at 1100 N. Grand Ave. in Walnut.) The suspects left in an Oldsmobile. He said deputies were called at 12:23 a.m. to assist Mt. SAC school police who were following a vehicle carrying three men. Deputies caught up with school police and pulled the car over on the 10 freeway at Citrus Avenue. The car's occupants were detained. Deputies saw graffiti on the pedestrian ramp at the campus as well as several spray paint cans nearby, according to Blasnek. Pomona residents Antonio Lemus, 18, Jorge Gaxiola, 19, and Cristian Montano, 18, were arrested on suspicion of vandalism and possession of vandalism tools. The three men were being held at the sheriff's Walnut/ Diamond Bar station jail in lieu of $20,000 bail each. They are scheduled for a Friday arraignment at Pomona Superior Court.( Picture of graffiti from our file...Ren )
