Diamond Bar, AARP Team Up to Offer Tax Help to Seniors

 

The city of Diamond Bar is teaming up with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) to help seniors get their taxes filed. According to the city's monthly newsletter, tax help will be available every Wednesday from February 6 through April 6, 2013 at the Diamond Bar Center, 1600 Grand Avenue. You'll need an appointment if you want to take advantage of the services, the city said. Those who attend must bring copies of their previous year’s tax returns, "and all other documents reflecting income and expenses for 2012," the city said, adding that the program is for those who are 55 and older.
