Gold Line Construction Closes Foothill Boulevard in Azusa

 
Construction on the Metro Gold Line extension is headed to Azusa, as Foothill Boulevard will be closed Friday evening for the construction of two new bridges. There will be a full closure of Foothill Boulevard, between Vernon Avenue and Orange Avenue in Azusa, 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, as crews begin work on the bridges over Foothill Boulevard for the Foothill extension project from Pasadena to Azusa. The closure ends the following Saturday morning at 6 a.m. when a single lane in each direction opens. Sidewalk access will also be closed. There will be a detour route in place.
