Riverside County Philharmonic

Featuring the La Sierra University Chorale

"Heavenly Voices"

Scarlatti "Concerto grosso # 1 in F Minor"
Beethoven "Symphony #4"
Haydn "Lord Nelson Mass"
featuring the La Sierra University Chamber Singers with rising opera stars Julianne Gearhart, soprano; Kristine Driskill, Mezzo Soprano; Ashley Faatoalia, tenor and Cedric Trenton Berry, baritone as our featured soloists.
The Philharmonic will be joining forces with the La Sierra University Chamber Singers as well as a wonderful cast of soloists (including soprano Julianne Gearhart) for Joseph Haydn's supremely masterful "Lord Nelson Mass". One of the most underrated composers in history, Haydn was a teacher to Beethoven and a friend to Mozart (both Haydn and Mozart acknowledged the other as being an important compositional influence).
Fortunate to be surrounded by the greatest virtuosos of the day to perform his compositions, Haydn always liked to challenge his musicians yet always please his audience.
The program also includes Beethoven's expressive "4th Symphony" and the "Concerto Grosso in f minor" of Alessandro Scarlatti.
