Cub Scout Pack 136 Provides Easter Cheer
The Cub Scouts of Pack 136 in conjunction with the First Presbyterian Church of Monrovia, prepared 6 Easter baskets for needy families in the Monrovia area. These baskets were jammed packed with cereal, canned goods, fresh fruits and veggies, and even Easter Eggs and goodies for the kids.
“We wanted to make these baskets overflowing with goods, to fill the family’s pantries, and extend far beyond the Easter holiday.” stated Cissie Andrews, Chartered Organization Representative for the Pack. “We were pleased so many of the Scouts embraced the project, also allowing them to earn the prestigious Messenger of Peace Award”, continued Mrs. Andrews. “This is a project we do every year, and we look forward to continuing our tradition next year.”
