Arcadia Reserve Police Officer Recognized for 'Outstanding Service'

An Arcadia police officer was recognized with an Outstanding Service Award from a county law enforcement lobbying organization.
Reserve Officer Cris Hoefflin received the award from the Peace Officers' Association of Los Angeles County. Hoefflin previously won the "Civilian of the Year" award from the Arcadia Police Department in 2010 when he was a logistical services officer, according to the department's news blog.
"Cris is never without a friendly welcome and a smile to match," the blog reads. "Whenever there is a task to be dealt with or a job to be done in our facility, Cris makes it happen."
