Bear Tranquilized in Arcadia, Taken Back to Forest

A bear that climbed a tree in a residential Arcadia neighborhood was tranquilized Thursday night and transported back into the forest.
California Department of Fish and Game wardens waited three hours for the bear to descend from the tree in the 100 block of West Foothill Boulevard but eventually decided to tranquilize it, the Pasadena Star-News reports.
Three bear sightings were reported on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, Arcadia Police told Patch. One of the bears got into a home in the 2000 block of Carolwood Drive
