Original In-N-Out Burger Replica Almost Finished in Baldwin Park

A couple of years ago, when In-N-Out decided to demolish an old restaurant building in the corner of Francisquito Avenue and Garvey Avenue, local authorities were "in shock", some customers, in "tears" and others even tried unsuccesfully to collect bricks as souvenirs.
They thought the company was destroying the oldest and first In-N-Out Burger building. But "they were so wrong," said Robert Benbow  curator of the Baldwin Park Museum.
The real first and original In-N-Out was demolished before the construction of the I-10 Freeway.
But now, they might have a reason to cheer up.
In-N-Out is building a replica of the original first In-N-Out burger in the same location where the old building was demolished.
And even though we still have not received more details from In-n-Out's corporate offices, it is known that  a museum is being built in that place.
In-N-Out's popularity has been one of the reasons why a lot of people have heard of Baldwin Park. As the company website said, Harry Snyder brought the first drive-thru burger Stand in California in 1948 just a few feet away where the replica will stand.
Baldwin Park Patch obtained some photos that can show you how the first In-N-Out looked, and how the new replica is expected to look like.
