CHINO HILLS - The Brain Zone will host their annual book giveaway on Saturday.
A variety of books will be offered to anyone coming by. The goal is to promote literacy. So far 1,000 books have been collected and are ready for a new home. The giveaway is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4053 Bayberry Drive, Chino Hills. The Brain Zone specializes in tutoring and teaching students who struggle in math or who have reading disabilities. Owner, Donna Rutherford, a certified reading therapist and neurodevelopmental therapy practitioner, has operated the center from her home in Chino Hills for 12 years.
