Hit-And-Run on Claremont's I-10 Causes Injuries, Spill

At least one person suffered injuries when a vehicle clipped a big rig's trailer, puncturing the fuel tank and spilling about 40 gallons of diesel on the Interstate 10 in Claremont, the CHP reported.
The crash on the westbound I-10 at Indian Hill Boulevard was reported just before 9:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Diesel fuel spilled onto the roadside but did not drip into the drains, the CHP reported.
