12 Arrested at Jay Z, Justin Timberlake Rose Bowl Concert

The sold-out show attracted 60,000 people to the Rose Bowl Sunday.

An 11-hour event at the Rose Bowl that featured the "Legends of Summer" stadium tour of pop superstar Justin Timberlake and rap sensation Jay-Z and an afternoon pre-concert, attracting a sellout crowd of 60,000, produced only 12 arrests, police said today.

"We had three arrests for public intoxication, five for illegal vending
and ticket scalping, two for battery, one vehicle violation and one boyfriend-
girlfriend domestic violence arrest," Lt. Tracey Ibarra, a Pasadena police
spokeswoman, said of Sunday's event.

"People came here to enjoy the good music. They were just easygoing and
relaxing. A lot of them were dressed to the nines," she said.

The "Legends of Summer" tour began July 17 in Toronto and has included
stops at New York's Yankee Stadium and San Francisco's Candlestick Park.
