Another Crash in Diamond Bar Snarls 60 Freeway
A crash on the eastbound 60 Freeway occurred July 31, 2013, even as crews worked to clear debris and open lanes affected by an earlier crash on the opposite side of the freeway
As crews worked to clear debris from an earlier wreck on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Diamond Bar Wednesday, shutting down two westbound lanes, another crash on the eastbound side also affected late afternoon traffic.
The 4:10 p.m. crash was reported on the eastbound side, north of Diamond Bar Boulevard, when a white service truck hit a center divider wall and ended up facing the wrong way, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The truck blocked the carpool and far left -- commonly known as the "Number 1" or "fast lane" for a time, so that crews could clear the road of debris.
No injuries were reported and the road was cleared just before 5 p.m. according to the CHP.
