Lamar Odom Arrested on DUI Charges in Van Nuys

Basketball legend Lamar Odom was arrested Friday morning on charges of Driving Under the Influence and refused chemical tests when he was taken to the Van Nuys Jail, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Odom was in a white Mercedes sports utility vehicle that was seen moving erratically on the 101 Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard, traveling eastbound. Police said the SUV was traveling in a "serpentine manner" at about 50 mphs.

             

The arrest was made at about 3:54 a.m. and he was taken to Van Nuys Jail at 5:01 a.m.
Odom has played for the Lakers and more recently the Clippers. The 33-year-old free agent has been the subject of stories reporting drug use and troubles in his marriage to Khloe Kardashian.
