Black holes topic for PVAA meeting in Claremont



Pomona Valley Amateur Astronomers will host a talk Friday by Scott Little, director of applied math and computational science of MAD Fellows LLC, and an independent researcher and writer.
The title of his presentation is “Electromagnetic Black Hole Analogies in General Relativity.”
Little has more than 20 years experience in systems engineering, operations analysis, industrial mathematics-physics, quantitative research, renewable energy, and education. Additionally, he is a drummer, musician, and martial artist.

PVAA meetings are open to the public at 7:30 p.m. in Beckman Hall, Harvey Mudd College, 1250 Dartmouth Ave. Beckman Hall is behind Galileo Hall in the same building.
