The Pomona City Council has approved a process of appointing a new member to represent City Council District 2 as a result of the election of Freddie Rodriguez to State Assembly.
The City Council will accept applications until Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. Selected candidates will be interviewed by the City Council (on a date to be determined) and an appointment will be made at the regular City Council meeting Monday, November 4, 2013. Interested residents of City Council District 2 who are registered voters of the City are invited to apply.
