1) Foothill Blvd at Railroad Bridges Fully Closed this Weekend; One-way Closures Ongoing Through June - Azusa
WHEN: Starts Friday, March 28, 2014
WHERE: Foothill Blvd at the railroad bridges between Vernon Ave and Orange Ave
Crews will complete the bridge girder installation during this third and last full weekend closure of Foothill Bridge for this effort. This work will require a full weekend closure of the street in both directions from Friday through Monday, while ongoing off-peak one-way closures of Foothill Blvd between Vernon Ave and Orange Ave will continue on Monday morning through June:
Full Weekend Closure
On Friday, March 28 at 9 PM, Foothill Blvd will be closed to thru-traffic in both directions between Vernon Ave and Orange Ave until Monday, March 31 at 5 AM.
One-Way Closures
Eastbound Foothill Blvd, between Vernon Ave and Orange Ave, will continue to have weekday, off-peak, eastbound closures between the hours of 4 AM and 2 PM only for up to five more weeks (work started last Monday, March 24).
Once the eastbound work is completed, westbound Foothill Blvd between Vernon Ave and Orange Ave, will be closed to thru-traffic daily for six more weeks between the hours of 9 AM and 10 PM only.
Detours and signage will be in place to guide motorists around the construction activity. The sidewalk will remain closed to pedestrians during the full weekend closure, but pedestrian access will be available on one side of Foothill Blvd during the one-way closures.

2) Virginia Ave to be Fully Closed for Four Months Starting Monday; Free Shuttle Service Available to Assist Pedestrians - Azusa
WHEN: Monday, March 31, 2014 to July 2014
WHERE: Virginia Ave at the railroad crossing between Foothill Blvd and Sixth St
Virginia Ave at the railroad crossing between Foothill Blvd and Sixth St will be fully closed for four months to allow crews to reconstruct the grade crossing. Standard construction work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional longer work hours, work on the weekends and night work may be performed to complete this work as scheduled.
A free shuttle service will be provided to assist pedestrians around the closure during daytime hours. Shuttle stops will be located on both sides of the tracks, and signage will be posted with hours of operation.
Detours and signage will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians around the construction area. See map below.
Please note that ongoing work on Foothill Blvd may require periodic changes to the detour routes for Virginia Ave.

3) San Gabriel Ave to Experience Three Full Weekend Closures - Azusa
WHEN:
Friday, April 4 at 3 PM thru Monday, April 7, 2014 at 5 AM
Friday, April 11 at 9 AM thru Monday, April 14, 2014 at 5 AM
Friday, April 25 at 9 AM thru Monday, April 28, 2014 at 5 AM
Note: the full closure will not occur during the Easter holiday weekend. Work hours will be 7 AM to 11 PM during the weekend closures.
WHERE: San Gabriel Ave at the railroad crossing between Ninth St and Foothill Blvd
Three weekend closures of San Gabriel Ave at the railroad crossing between Ninth St and Foothill Blvd will be required to allow crews to install the railroad tracks and signal work.
Detours and signage will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians around the construction area.
