National Napping Day is celebrated annually the day following the return of daylight savings time. National Napping Day provides everyone with the opportunity to have a nap and catch up on the hour of sleep that they lost due to the, spring forward, time change.
Mid-afternoon naps are an integral part of most cultures, and scientifically proven to be good for you.
A needed nap can make you feel better and also improve your mood. After having the extra amount of sleep, a person will notice that they will be more productive and energetic.

NATIONAL NAPPING DAY HISTORYWilliam Anthony, Ph.D., a Boston University Professor and his wife, Camille Anthony created National Napping Day, an “unofficial” national holiday, in 1999 as an effort to spotlight the health benefits to catching up on quality sleep. ”We chose this particular Monday because Americans are more ‘nap-ready’ than usual after losing an hour of sleep to daylight savings time,” Anthony said in B.U.’s press release.

Celebrated annually on March 10th, National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is a day to empower people everywhere, with knowledge and information regarding this disease and the often overlooked impact that it has on women and girls.
On this educational day each year, groups, organizations, state and local health officials and thousands of people share the facts regarding HIV/AIDS and the affects that it does have on them.
Some of the action that is taken, or can be taken, on this day is:
* Telling women and girls how to prevent HIV/AIDS
* Getting more women and girls to get tested
* Providing services to those living with the disease
* Doing whatever it takes to reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS

A popover is described as; puffy pastries, roughly the size of muffins, that have moist interiors — whether hollow or stuffed, with crispier, lightly browned exteriors. Can’t you already taste a blueberry filled, light and fluffy, fresh out of the oven, popover?

NATIONAL PACK YOUR LUNCH DAY
National Pack Your Lunch Day is celebrated by many people across the country on March 10th of each year.
