In this picture of Pomona, the top is looking west. And the bottom is east, and the building there on the bottom of the picture. Is the Pomona Packing Plant, the just got restored as lofts and art gallery's.
And the cross street is Towne Ave. now the underpass is there. OK I think I gave you an ideal in what your looking at. I was just old enough to see this as it was before they started making all the big changes, like the underpasses and the Pomona Mall.
 And if you look real close, you can make out the packing houses that use be along the tracks, and a few grain factories also.
Then First St. had to drop down after it came to Palomares St. because of a packing house that use to be there. And way over to the left side of the picture, there is a white wooden building located on Third St. and Locust St. Well that's the old telephone building that use to be there, before they built the one that we know today.
