NATIONAL REPEAT DAY
Repeat day, repeat day, is a day to do, is a day to do, things over and over, things over and over, again and again, again and again.
Annually celebrated on June 3, it is National Repeat Day.
When you are getting dressed this morning, put your socks on, take them off and put them on again. When you start your car to leave for work, turn it off and start it again. Do you have a favorite restaurant? Go there for breakfast and then again for lunch. Do you have a favorite movie you like to watch? Watch it, then watch it again. One movie you may want to watch today could be “Groundhog Day”, a 1993 film in which the main character is affected by a time loop.
Have a great day! Have a great day!
NATIONAL REPEAT DAY HISTORY Within our research, we were unable to find the creator and origin of National Repeat Day, an “unofficial” national holiday. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NATIONAL CHOCOLATE MACAROON DAY
Just three days after National Macaroon Day, across the nation June 3rd annually celebrates National Chocolate Macaroon Day.
For today’s celebration, chocolate is added to the macaroon cookie that is loved by many.
Macaroons, in the earliest recorded recipes found for them, were made from egg whites and almond paste. It is claimed by culinary historians that macaroons can be traced to an Italian monastery of the 9th century.
