Thanks to all who participated in Sunday's SOPPL Downtown Pomona Restaurant Crawl. I had a blast, and you did too. We got such a great turnout, at least initially, we overwhelmed our restaurants. The valiant staff of all four eateries rose to the occasion and prepared more food. Our eternal gratitude goes to: The Hamburger House, O'Donovan's, Fox Sports Bar, and the Green Room, for their generosity and providing us with such a good time. Can you believe, they even managed to pull out a hockey victory for our Kings? Finally, we were able to get in the historic and elegant, beautifully restored, Fox Theater through The Green Room for a tour. Thank you, Ron Vander Molen, for pitching in and serving as our guide.
One more piece of good news: we've now raised a total of $3225 toward our $5000 Matching Funds Grant from EveryLibrary.
