Pomona drug dealer gets early morning visit by Pomona Police SWAT



On 8/19/2014, the Pomona Police Department SWAT team served a search warrant in a residential neighborhood in the 500 block of N. Park Avenue related to a drug sales investigation initiated by graveyard Patrol Officers of the Pomona Police Department.

During the service of the search warrant, Suspect Joel Verduzco was observed trying to dispose of narcotics into a neighboring yard. Suspect Verduzco was arrested for possession for sales of over 90 balloons of suspected heroin with an estimated street value of $2000.00. Suspect Verduzco was booked at the Pomona City jail with a bail of $30,000.
