Why can't I find out who Ralph Welch was so I know why the park was named after him??? It's disgusting that the memory of who is why public parks and such are named after somebody is lost because nobody cares about history. If public officials want to help children become better citizens, people in general, it should be first priority to preserve the history and reasons parks are named after someone to understand that they can too can be legendary as to being a person of love and care and goodness that they too can be honored to be remembered for eternity of who they were and why they were appreciated and list their accomplishments for all the world to see.
