An Evening of Music
You are cordially invited to a free outdoor concert at the home of Jay and Cheryl Munns, 1395 North Palomares St. (across from Lincoln Park) 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, November 11.
Take a trip back in time to experience a re-creation of an Army camp USO show somewhere in Europe during WWII.
The Sentimental Sisters is a trio of talented singers that bring back the matchless vocal harmony of the big band era and the music of the Andrews Sisters. They are accompanied by pianist/arranger, Jay C. Munns, who has performed for two U.S. Presidents and entertained countless celebrities including Bob Hope, Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, and Milton Berle to name a few. The show is a tuneful tribute to the era featuring such classic hits as, "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree," and "Boogle Woogie Bugle Boy" Come join your neighbors and fellow PH members for this fun event!

Final Preparations for PH "Thirtieth Anniversary Christmas Home Tour"
Plans are in the final stages for our celebration of 30 years of bringing visitors to our neighborhoods and town, showcasing what a great place Pomona is to work and live in. We are proud of our city, and the Annual Tour has highlighted our three Historic Districts, rejuvenated Downtown, restored landmark buildings, and our vibrant diverse community for three decades!
This year's Tour features 5 unique vintage homes decorated for Christmas, the magnificent Pilgrim Congregational Church Sanctuary, festive trolley service to the various sites, Holiday gift vendors, live music, Holiday food and more!
Now we need you! Most needed now are craft vendors, musical performers, advertisers for the booklet, and docents. We're counting on all our members and supporters to help in making this a real community celebration!
