SUV hits tow truck, bursts into flames in Ontario

 

 

ONTARIO, Calif.

There were no serious injuries after a fiery crash between an SUV and a tow truck in Ontario.

It happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at Haven Avenue and Mission Boulevard when an SUV ran a red light and collided with the tow truck. The SUV then burst into flames.

Police said the driver of the SUV left the scene, leaving behind two to three other passengers with minor injuries. The tow truck driver was not injured.

Investigators believe the crash could have been a case of DUI. The driver remains outstanding.
