Mr. Cortez was a great person to work for as I did at his gas station as a "pump jockey" for a couiple of years when I was getting my AA degree at Mt. SAC. He treated me like family and that's where some of his extended family worked as well. I have many fun and fond memories working there part time while I put myself through college.
