USC will play Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on Dec. 27, the San Diego Bowl Game Association announced Sunday.
The game will mark the first appearance for the Trojans. The Cornhuskers will be the first Big Ten team to play there since 1994.
Both teams ended the season with similar records with Nebraska at 9-3 and USC 8-4. They both played Fresno State and won handily.
