Prom and party dresses, plus special occasion shoes, handbags and other accessories, will be for sale at bargain prices during the inaugural ScholarShop fundraiser, presented by the Foothill Chapter of National Charity League.
The event is planned for Feb. 22, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot and inside of Magdaleno’s banquet hall, 220 N. Central Ave., Upland.
Gently used formal and semi-formal dresses – short and long – in a variety of colors will be priced at $25 each. Other items will include party shoes, jewelry, purses, scarves and wraps. Payment will be cash only.
Money raised will benefit the scholarship fund of NCL’s Foothill Chapter, which awards about $10,000 each spring to deserving high school senior girls in the region. NCL is a nonprofit mother-daughter volunteer organization.
