North Carolina community college shooting: 1 killed, suspect at large

 

 

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (KABC) --

One person was killed following a shooting at a North Carolina community college on Monday. An active search is underway for the gunman.

The Wayne County Community College campus in Goldsboro, North Carolina is on lockdown, according to police.

The Goldsboro 911 call center confirmed to ABC News that the shooting occurred around 8 a.m. inside a campus building.

The relationship between the shooter and the victim remains unknown.
