Ontario police investigating officer-involved shooting

 

 

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) --

Ontario police were investigating an officer-involved shooting during a barricade situation Sunday night.

The incident occurred in the 900 block of West Vesta Street. Ontario police said they were responding to an incomplete 911 call. Upon arrival, officers were shot at and returned gunfire, officials said.

No one was injured, but surrounding residents were evacuated from the area.

The suspect's weapon was found in the yard. As of 11 p.m., officers were still looking for the suspect.
