Victim shot, Pomona officers capture attempt murder suspects, 3 guns after vehicle pursuit. Great work!

VICTIM: Joseph Sanabria, 35 years old, Pomona Resident
SUSPECTS:
1) Mendoza-Shelby, Lisa Marie, 45 years old, Pomona Resident
2) Shelby, Julio, 36 years old, Transient
3) Shelby, William, 53 years old, Ontario Resident
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Blue, 2005, Chevy, Suburban
UNIT: Patrol Division
NARRATIVE:
On July 28, 2015 at approximately 7:04pm, police dispatch received calls regarding a shooting that occurred in the area of East Holt Ave. and Gibbs St. in the city of Pomona. Witnesses provided suspect descriptions as well as the suspect vehicle description. A responding officer observed the suspect vehicle leaving the area. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle at which time the vehicle pulled over, then the driver backed up towards officers and fled again. Police officers pursued the vehicle and during the pursuit, two handguns were thrown out of the vehicle by the suspects.
The vehicle eventually yielded and pulled over at Garey and Alvarado in the city of Pomona, where the suspects were taken into custody without incident. The two handguns that were thrown out of the vehicle during the pursuit were recovered and an additional handgun was located inside the suspect vehicle after the suspects were taken into custody.
One victim of a shooting was located at the crime scene. Victim Sanabria sustained gunshot wounds to his leg and foot and was transported to an area hospital.
All three suspects are being held at the Pomona City Jail pending their court date. No officers or other citizens were injured in this incident. At this time, the motive for the shooting is unknown.
