Police Arrest Armed Gang Member

Date and Time: 090/19/15, 1228 hrs.
Suspect: Ware, Nathan Daniel, 31 yr old, Pomona

Charges; Violation of Parole,  Felon in Possession of Firearm, Possession of Body Armor.
A armed gang member was arrested by Pomona Police as he walked down a residential street. Information was received that the suspect was armed and on the roof of a residence. When officers arrived in the 1400 Edgehill St., the gang member was walking down the street.
Officers detained suspect Ware and found that he was wearing a ballistic vest and armed with 9mm handgun. The reason he was on the roof was unexplained, but he was arrested.
The suspect was on parole and was held for parole violation and the additional charges of wearing body armor and possession of weapon by a felon. Suspect lodged at the Pomona City jail.
