Pomona Police offering a free women's self-defense class on October 17th.
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Pomona Police Department is offering a free self-defense class for women. The class will take place on October 17, 2015 from 8 am to noon at the Daniel Fraembs Training Center located at 1702 E. First Street. The class is open only to female residents of Pomona. The training will include situational, vehicular, home awareness and self-defense techniques. Space is limited and will be on a first come, first-serve basis.
