National Green Juice Day
National Green Juice Day is observed annually on January 26 to inspire people to keep their wellness resolutions in the New Year.Green juice comes to the rescue just as people are starting to lose sight of their health and wellness goals. According to a study* commissioned by Evolution Fresh and conducted by Wakefield Research, 53 percent of Americans have broken their New Year’s resolutions by the fourth week of January, and three out of four Americans say staying fit and healthy is one of the hardest resolutions to keep.
National Green Juice Day encourages Americans to incorporate the goodness of cold-pressed green juice into their daily lives as a small, positive change for a little joy and wellness.
HOW TO OBSERVE
Take a healthy break and go out for a green juice with a friend or make your own green juice at home. Post photos on social media using #NationalGreenJuiceDay

NATIONAL SPOUSES DAY
National Spouses Day is observed annually on January 26th. Dedicated to recognizing spouses everywhere, this day reminds us to take time for our spouse. From being thankful for fulfillment and security of a long-term relationship, to the boost of morale and well-being provided by spouses, there are many reasons to celebrate. This day is a time to show your spouse that you care and appreciate all of the things that he/she does for you and for the home.Life gets busy and we can often take for granted how our spouse improves our life. Pay a heartfelt thank you or compliment to the love of your life. National Spouses Day is a non-gift giving day, so spend time together and reconnect. Don’t forget to say, “I love you.”
HOW TO OBSERVE
If it has been a while since you have expressed appreciation to the one with whom you are married, now is your chance. Again, this day is not about giving gifts but spending time together, enjoying each other and appreciating each other. Use #NationalSpousesDay to post on social media.

NATIONAL PEANUT BRITTLE DAY
National Peanut Brittle Day is observed on January 26. A hard, flat candy confection, this treat is popular through out the United States.Peanut Brittle is made of caramelized sugar or corn syrup. After the nuts are added it is poured out on a flat surface such as granite or marble and smoothed to an even sheet. When cooled the candy is broken into pieces. Some of the best brittles are even hand stretch to a thin, easily cracked candy that melts in the mouth.
The history of peanut brittle is uncertain, though one legend says it was all a mistake. The story goes that a southern woman was making taffy and instead of using cream of tartar, she used baking soda by accident.
