Did you know?

In November 1909, L.G. Bumstead announced that he had purchased E. V. Caldwell’s bicycle and sporting goods shop. As illustrated by this 1911 advertisement, the shop was originally located at 133 North Euclid Avenue, and even sold and repaired motorcycles. The shop has moved several times over the years but has always remained a fixture in Ontario. Today, Bumstead Bicycles, in business for over 100 years, remains family owned and operated, dealing solely in bicycles.
