On Memorial Day at Garfield Park (801 E Holt Ave) in Pomona, the 1923 WWI commemoration statue will be be returned to its former glory. The statue of the goddess Pomona handing a sword sending a young man to battle the enemies of peace will have the sword again returned to its rightful place. The ceremony starts at 1:00pm.
