All fireworks are illegal in Pomona. Police will take a zero tolerance approach this 4th of July.


In an effort to make the 4th of July holiday safe and enjoyable for everyone in the City of Pomona, the Pomona Police Department will be taking zero tolerance approach to the illegal possession, use, sales, or distribution of fireworks. All fireworks are illegal in the City of Pomona, to include Safe and Sane.
The police department will be deploying extra resources, on the weekend of July 4th, to enforce firework laws. Fines for possession, use, sales, or distribution of fireworks can be as much as $1000.
