Ren's did you know?

In the late 1880’s to early 1900’s with horses as a primary source of transportation, livery stables were prominent throughout Ontario—many along Euclid Avenue. Charles E. Harper, owner of horses and wagons, offered livery and moving services. Avenue Livery, Feed and Sale Stables advertised “Gentle horses to ladies. No lady drivers.” Ontario Livery Stable, located on Main Street in an elegant thre...e-story brick building had horses on the main level, carriages on the second, and grain and hay on the third. Services included drivers, horses, carriages, phaetons, and buggies. The building would later became the home of Hotpoint.
