Support your local Artists & Arts Organization. $25 per person great art, great music, great food from local kitchens, and opportunities to connect with great people all for the love of art ! Simply Red Preview Benefit for dA is an annual fundraiser that helps artists & the dA as part of the long standing Simply Red open call to artists exhibition.
Why should you support the dA ?
The dA through the lens of a Go Pro camera would evidence a live streaming performance piece of practicing and applying art as a non - discriminating tool to embrace, to build, and to exploit the brilliance of the power of art in the diverse and vibrant Pomona community and beyond!
This happens thanks to the dA's amazing volun...teers, dedicated studio art leaders, and dA friends who go above and beyond to service and provide outstanding art experiences for our community.
Over 30,000 artists of all ages come in and out of the dA's doors annually. The dA runs on a budget that teeters on +/- $100,000 and provides over $750,000 worth of programs for all populations to included youth at risk, special needs individuals, Pomona Unified School District students, the Pomona Library, San Gabriel Valley Regional Center, LGBTQ friends, Spoken Word/ Say Word for Youth, underserved populations of undocumented citizens, those with mental illness, Artists & Musicians against Sexual Abuse and Domestic Violence, Veterans, American Sign Language activists, Foster Youth, and last but not least artists in all mediums who need a place to start their dreams.
