Sunday Shows Please join us February 5, 2017

Sunday exhibitions of the beautiful Arabian horse were started by W.K. Kellogg in 1926, and the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center is privileged to carry on this Southern California tradition. The purpose of the Sunday Shows has always been to promote interest in the Arabian breed and to educate the horse loving public to the versatility, beauty, and intelligence of these animals. Weather permitting, shows are held the first Sunday of each month during the school year, November through May, in a specially designed arena with covered stands.
The horses in the Sunday Shows are presented in many disciplines, such as Native Costume, under both English and Western tack, in Ladies Side Saddle, and as a drill team. English type horses are presented as Hunter Pleasure horses, Saddle Seat horses, and over fences. Western type horses are displayed both as Pleasure horses and as an intelligent and agile trail horse. A four-horse quadrille routine is performed by the Arabian Mounted Drill Team. A trick horse act is always a crowd favorite. During the spring months our newest additions are featured in a Mare and Foal Act. Training and handling are accomplished entirely by the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center's students and staff, and the show program is designed to demonstrate the versatility and fine qualities of the Arabian breed.
Weather permitting, the Sunday Show begins at 2:00.  Shows are held in an outdoor arena, so rain the entire week before may affect scheduling.  Please check this website or our Facebook page for updates.
